This was a demo painting for my recent workshop in Cloudcroft, NM.
It is an example of several of the techniques I taught in the class, including rusted iron paint, prepared tyvek, clay medallion, and use of my "sandwich" technique.
The "sandwich" technique was utilized by my students with huge success. Here's some unretouched photos of their work which looked fabulous in person:
