MEDIUM: acrylics THEME: WHISPER | palette knife painting techniques | ABSTRACT | gold tree in a wind | SLOW | Dranitsin COLORS: mars black, titanium white, lemon yellow, violet TOOLS: round wax paint brush, liner brush, painter tape, water, 3" soft blending brush CANVAS: 30x24" pre-stretched & double primed all cotton canvas; use painter tape to separate canvas into 3 sections vertically; note - it helps to make your measuring marks before you start using the painter tape; paint outer sides with yellow oxide acrylic paint and let them dry; apply masking tape for the inner portion of the canvas; paint inside portion of the canvas with pallet knife using violet and mars black; wet the canvas surface just before you start creating.
